Your character is a painter who's been struggling with alcoholism, but those issues have helped to spark your creativity and make you work harder. Since you are now sober, everything you have accomplished in your work is mostly derived from other things. You are almost out of cash and now have to go to Elena to get help. Elena owns a very successful art gallery in the community and she's also someone who supported you in the past. However, she's got issues too, with one of them being Belle, her niece, that's just moved to the town to go to college. So, is Elena going to give you any assistance? You pray so since you are about to be a starving artist for real if someone doesn't step in and help.
